Discover Cilento
Cilento is best discovered slowly, like a story told in stone and sea. From the sea, aboard a wooden gozzo along the coast that runs from Castellabate down to Palinuro, past caves and coves reachable only by water. At the table, with extra virgin olive oil, buffalo mozzarella, white figs and family recipes, in the land where Ancel Keys studied the Mediterranean diet from his home in Pioppi.
Among the stones of Paestum and Elea-Velia, where Magna Graecia is still visible, and along the trails of the National Park, through olive groves, maquis and hilltop villages. METIS curates and creates experiences with the people who live here every day: fishermen, cooks, artisans and guides.
